CNC Maintenance Manager

Top Gun Staffing Inc is working with a Tier One Automotive Manufacturer to fill a Direct Hire CNC Maintenaance Manager position

Day shift however need to be available on call and or an off shift as needed.

The Maintenance Manager will manage a skilled team of personnel to ensure that all aspects of plant equipment and facility maintenance are safely supported. Responsibilities include both daily operational objectives and long term strategic activities. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for building a strong team, developing direct reports and establishing a high level of organizational capability within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve high machine uptime through comprehensive preventive maintenance and spares management programs

  • Build organizational capability in areas of mechanical equipment maintenance and repair, equipment electronics troubleshooting, and all aspects of facilities maintenance and repair.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication with management, internal customers, and external suppliers.

  • Manage construction, purchase and repair of facilities and equipment.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Develop direct reports and build the technical skills of the maintenance department.

  • Prepare requisitions for repair items and supplies and manage spending to an established budget.

  • Work effectively with outside contractors when required for facility or machine service.

  • Schedule, coordinate and direct all equipment and facility maintenance work.

  • Maintain extended equipment systems including instrument calibration, vehicles, copiers, phone system, IT infrastructure, and selling of used equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field, or 5+ years directly related experience

  • At least 4 years maintenance experience

  • At least 3 years of management experience

  • Experience with mechanical and electrical aspects of CNC equipment and large facility maintenance

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, communicate, and develop employees

  • Able to set and achieve goals

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with office software

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, stoop for extended periods of time without a break and lift up to 50 lbs.
