Group Maintenance Leader

As the Maintenance Lead, your primary responsibility is to supervise the night shift Maintenance team members. You will also support the Maintenance Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the department or assigned work area. Your focus will be on meeting Customer requirements while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Actively performing job duties as required in the Maintenance Technician position
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, and program malfunctions in automated systems, automated machinery, and stamping presses
  • Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity, and ergonomics
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Coordinate regular preventative maintenance on daily equipment and facility
  • Communicate with Manufacturing Supervisor throughout the shift to understand the prioritization of Maintenance calls throughout the shift
  • Understand the strengths of each Maintenance team member to be able to adequately assign team members to Maintenance calls
  • Monitor team members’ progress throughout the shift
  • Main contact for escalation of Maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, and/ or General Manager
  • Perform pass-down meeting with the next shift and daily report to Maintenance Manager

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three years Maintenance Technician experience working in fast-paced, industrial manufacturing environment
  • Prefer previous Lead/ Supervisor experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret manuals, work orders, blueprints, etc. to perform required maintenance and service

Salary: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour
