Full Job Description
SCOPE:
Responsible for all aspects material scheduling from suppliers, timely receiving of material and inventory management for components used for production of exhaust systems on a Just-in-Sequence (JIS) basis
COMPETENCIES:
- Several years of MRP, ERP experience in the automotive industry
- Experience with inventory control and methods to optimize inventory levels
- Knowledge of production control, cycle times, production orders, work schedules, master data administration including BOM maintenance
- Knowledge of value stream mapping, analyze bottlenecks, compare plan and actual production performance and suggests proper corrective actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very good organizational skills required
- Must have ability to anticipate problems and willingness to act pro-actively
- Excellent problem solving skills required
- Must be computer literate
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent combination of experience or education.
- Minimum 5 or more years’ experience in a related position/field’
