We are looking for a qualified Production Planner to organize production according to demand and quality standards. You will report to the Logistics Manager and be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Production/Manufacturing departments to fulfill needs and ensure inventory conformance
- Communication and coordination with Production Supervisors and Customer Service
- Knowledge of continuous improvement / LEAN methods
- A strong team orientation combined with positive and influential leadership skills
- Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares purchase orders, and forecasting
- Alerts and/or recommends solutions to operating or project management to deviation from established norms
- Track production trends to forecast and adjust scheduling effectively
- Ensure material flow is optimized and accurate
- Monitor raw material suppliers for performance, process RTVs for any defect or non-confirming materials
- Put in place corrective actions to be taken with suppliers to ensure delivery
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or similar discipline OR equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- ERP experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Good communicator and a team worker
