Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at a great company. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing process of automotive seating products. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of production operators and technicians in the manufacturing of automotive seating components, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while optimizing resource utilization.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the planning and logistics teams to ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and tools needed for seamless production.
- Train, mentor, and coach production staff, fostering skill development, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement in production processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Address and resolve production-related issues, such as equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and workflow interruptions, in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, work orders, and quality control documentation.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the production of defect-free seating components.
- Participate in regular meetings to provide production updates, discuss challenges, and propose solutions for process improvements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production supervision within the automotive manufacturing sector, with specific experience in seating components being a plus.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and quality control methodologies within the automotive industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse production team.
