Qualifications:

ISO 9001: QMS experience or related standard – 5 years minimum (Preferred)

Quality Manager experience – 3 years minimum (Preferred)

US work authorization

Preferred Education:

Associate’s Degree in Quality / Engineering Technology, or its certified educational equivalent (i.e. ASQ CQE/CQM). Documented experience of a Quality Management role for 3 or more years could be considered.

Job Candidate Qualifications:

Demonstrable working knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ Process and/or PPAP Process, PFMEA’s, Control Plans, GD&T, Creation and Dissemination of FAIR’s, CMM DATA, MSA/GAGE R&R’s, Capability Studies, CAPA’s (8D process).

Complete understanding of ISO 9001: Quality Management System certification (or related standard, i.e. ISO 13485/IAFT 16949 etc.).

5+ years of Supervisory Experience with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.

Job Description/Responsibilities General Overview:

Directly manage Quality Personnel – to include the assignment of work, training, performance review and discipline if necessary.

Plan and deploy Quality training to support manufacturing and shop floor employees.
Develop and implement procedures/processes and training with department management.

Responsible for oversight/control of all internal documentation and records as it relates to Quality or the Quality Management Systems.

Responsible for oversight/reporting of qualification/validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ and PPAP submissions – receiving subsequent approval records.

Member of Material Review Board (MRB) responsible for team product dispositions, when necessary creating deviation request submissions and documenting approvals.

Investigate root causes, define improvement actions and strategies to achieve company quality goals.

Direct the auditing of internal quality systems and take ownership/delegate any resulting corrective actions as necessary.

Manage SCAR/CAPA/8D process ensuring completion, submission and verification for all customer product and or audit complaints.

Document and present all reviews, recommendations and required items annually in the company’s Management Review Meeting (MRM).

Manage the activities/personnel relevant to the daily Quality functions of manufacturing and shipment of products.

Perform and/or delegate requirements for approved vendor list and maintenance of records.

Control of nonconforming product until defective condition has been dispositioned and acted upon to completion.

Initiate prevention of internal nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system in review of NCR process.

Monitor Customer Specific Requirements, and utilize customer websites when necessary, to ensure customer requirements have been met to satisfaction.

Liaison between customer and internal departments and resources for quality issues.

Initiate/Manage third party sorts at customer location when/if necessary.

Lead ISO 9001 and customer audits, including managing the completion of corrective actions of nonconforming items when necessary.
