Key Responsibilities
• Serve as Management Representative for TS16949 (Quality System) Audit and measure level of quality and provide management with accurate and timely data • Raise quality level by reducing rejected PPM (Parts Per Million) toward goal of zero defects and lower cost of quality • Coordinate efforts of production and tool room personnel to reduce scrap • Develop and implement Continuous Improvement activities which affect our Quality and Environmental systems • Serve as Volkswagen Product Safety representative (PSB is the customer designation) • Cooperate with all local, state and federal agencies, such as OSHA or the EPA, in the event of an inspection • Know, follow and enforce all applicable SH&E Policies and Procedures • Help manage Safety Performance Measurable such as Incident Rate, Monthly Inspection Results and EOS scores. Qualifications/Requirements
• College degree in business or technical field preferred or the equivalent technical background in quality or related field• Experience on shop floor Quality Assurance or Engineering, preferably in the automotive field
