Controls Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

Analyze the processes of the assigned facility

Lead minor automation upgrades to serial programs with focus on reducing non-ergo friendly operations

Identify shortcomings that could be opened by automation

Design systems that can automate processes

Leading and mentoring assigned Team Leaders as well as holding them responsible for fulfilling their duties

Maintain and repair systems

Inspect systems to ensure they meet safety regulations

Responsible for review of completed accident/incident report, and follow-up on corrective actions
Controls Engineer Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
-
Several years of engineering experience
-
AutoCAD skills
-
Familiarity with common PLC hardware

Strong communication abilities
