Top Gun Staffing Inc Inc. is currently hiring for 2nd shift Die Setters in the Calhoun County area
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Installs and aligns various progressive and secondary dies in press according to specifications.

Adjusts ram stroke to specified length.

Develop set-up specifications for new jobs.
-
Coordinates the electronic roll feeders with various dies and presses.
-
Assists machine operators in troubleshooting press issues.
-
Effectively troubleshoots and corrects problems in die to meet quality specifications.
-
Inspects production parts using measuring and gauging tools for conformance to specifications; adjusts machine to correct errors.
-
Completes required paperwork.
-
Assists in the repair and rework of dies.
-
May operate press.
-
May assist in general maintenance including welding, cutting, grinding, etc.

Assists Tool Room when needed.
-
Follows and trains all safety requirements.
-
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

Trains operators and new employees on proper use of equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school education or equivalent
-
Three year’s experience in Die Setting or similar related positions.
-
Ability to complete necessary paperwork through basic math, reading, and writing skills.
-
Ability to read measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.

Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend safety, operating, and maintenance documents and procedures.

Demonstrated problem solving skills.
-
Good mechanical skills.

Ability to work with little or no supervision.
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
-
Ability to obtain/retain Lift Truck, OH Crane, LOTO Authorization certifications.
-
General knowledge of various metal stamping equipment.
