Candidates MUST have manufacturing and Government Aerospace manufacturing experience.

Work Schedule:

Regular hours are Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Employees may need to adjust work hours during surge situations.

Brief Job Description:

The Director of Finance is responsible for managing the company's finances, including financial planning, management of financial and insurance risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Tracks expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts, and other financial dealings of the Company by reviewing daily financial transactions and completing the posting process.

Analyzes trends to reduce financial risks associated with making investment and spending decisions.

Advises CEO and key management regarding spending and budget questions

Oversees complete and accurate full-cycle accounts receivable and payable records including review of input and processing of invoices and expense reports for payment, by obtaining necessary approvals and reviewing check/ACH/wire payment records

Creates and provides analysis of regular financial reports and budgets (weekly/monthly/annually), financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, etc.

Responsible for proposal pricing development from initial RFP or sources sought through submission

Responsible for review of payroll processing

Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal and license requirements

Responsible for supporting ad-hoc projects and additional responsibilities with a focus on P&L

Hires and leads the finance department, including giving directions and delivering performance evaluations

Performs other tasks as needed

Requirements:

CPA or CMA is preferred

Experience with Unanet is a plus

Must be capable of passing a drug screen, background screen and credit check

Must have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to record, maintain, and ensure compliance with purchasing processes and policies

Must have proven ability with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process(account reconciliations/ AP aging/ journal entries/ monthly reports/ financial statements)

Experience developing complex US Government build-up models is preferred

Must have strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to prioritize work

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Must be detail oriented with good analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently

Must have attention to detail and critical thinking skills

Must demonstrate positive, polite, and professional behavior at all times when dealing with co-workers, customers, and all levels of management

Must have the ability to communicate using clear, concise, and accurate English; both verbal and written are Required
