Qualifications
Minimum education level: Bachelor’s Degree
•3-5 years engineering related experience in Heavy Manufacturing Environment
•SAP experience preferred
•Strong leadership and interpersonal and communication skills
•Working knowledge of continuous improvement processes and lean manufacturing
•Strong project management skills
Responsibilities
The main purpose of the Industrial Engineer is to ensure engineering changes are entered in SAP, communicated to all applicable personnel, implemented on time within PC&L, quality and production processes
Attend several meetings regarding each platform and line of assemblies produced for the customer
Plan and implement new products and/or changes to the manufacturing process
Provide manufacturing engineering support to assigned UAP
Provide support to Quality Department and UAP Quality Engineer as required
Review processes and procedures on an on-going basis for safety, quality, and production efficiency
