Responsibilities for process engineer
- Assist team with development of improved production processes and SOPs
- Participates in the design, specification and installation of manufacturing equipment
- Participates in technology transfer and scale up activities
- Provides plant floor support to manufacturing operations and personnel
- Ensure that all new tooling and equipment meets company standards
- Ensure processes and tools developed/built achieve quoted cycle times
- Ensure all aspects of equipment and processes operate at maximum efficiency
- Ensure tooling is producing quality parts and processes are standardized
- Aid in part design to ensure proper manufacture of part
- Train associates in latest technology
Qualifications for process engineer
- Bachelor Degree – Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other engineering discipline
- Good understanding of Automotive PPAP / APQP / MSA requirements and Quality systems/tools
- Experience in New Product Development processes and manufacturing process
- Experience in Plastic Injection Molding with Automotive Manufacturing
