Basic responsibilities:
- Required to work with all departments on the development of new products in order to meet customer and TS 16949 requirements
- Successfully work on Advanced Product Quality Planning, scorecards, and work with cross functional teams on the development of new and existing components to meet critical customer deadlines
- Implementation of new procedures and processes in pre-production stages of product launches in compliance with customer requirements
- Train operation team members on quality disciplines
- Collaborate with all levels of the plant
- Accountable for customer concerns and addressing/fixing any issues
- Accountable for APQP, especially deliverables as per program requirements
- Accountable for ensuring updates and maintenance of D/PFMEA, control plans, and RPN glide path reductions on PFMEA
- Analyze and improve statistical data including continuous improvement/corrective actions
- Review and analyze approved Labs on all metrics during Eng. changes
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Post-Secondary Graduate with a technical degree, diploma, or certificate in Quality Engineering (CQE)
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Automotive or similar quality engineering experience with new program launch
- Project Management experience
- Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret internal procedures, documents and processes, internal and customer requirements, flow diagrams, and business correspondences

Salary: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
