SCOPE AND GENERAL SUMMARY: In this job, you will communicate expectations clearly, classify tasks appropriately, and train employees on the latest product standards. You will also ensure that safety protocols are followed, track & report quality metrics to other members of the management team and drive the quality improvements.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing preferred
- Experience in quality function within an industrial manufacturing
- Certified Quality Engineer and/or Post-Secondary Degree preferred
- Sound knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Standard
- New program launch/ Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Knowledge of PPAP, PSO, Run at Rate
- Effective implementation of PFMEA and Control Plan
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the Quality department in its daily objectives, activities, tasks, assignments and problem which may arise
- Manage Test Labs (Performance Testing, Calibration and CMM)
- Perform tasks and reporting as outlined in the Business Operating Process’ where denoted as responsibility of the Quality Supervisor
- Provide training as required to subordinates and other members of the company where needed
- Travel as required to customer and supplier locations
- Track Prototype builds and verify whether they are okay to ship
- Weekly Payroll for all Employees under him/her within the Quality Department
- Review + disposition as part of the team for internal non-conformances
- Ensure all QE logs are maintained by subordinates. Examples include: PPAP Logs, Customer Quality Alert Log, Supplier Car Log, Third party lab testing Log
- Ensure effective statistical process controls
- Review & sign off scrap reports

Salary: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
