We are seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer for one of our growing clients in Marietta, GA!
Salary: 85,000-95,000 a year
Schedule: Monday- Friday (Day shift)
Responsibilities:

Utilize the tools of APQP (PPAP, FMEA, control plans, capability studies)

Provide trainings and support to Quality Management Team

Review and approve Supplier PPAP packages, understanding Level 3 submission PPAP requirements

Lead AQP and PPAP activities for internal and intra-company supplied parts including Component Risk Assessments, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Validation, interact with Supplier Development Engineers for purchased components

Develop APQP plans for programs

Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products to ensure the quality of finished products

Liaise / visit with the supplier on a regular basis to track completion of tasks and APQP items

Liaise with the supplier for PPAP submission dates, updating the SAQ Database as appropriate

Regularly update the Supplier Advanced Quality database in sharepoint with the component APQP progress

Lead resolution of discrepancies to drive PPAP to full status

Track PPAP not submitted/ Interim / Full on the SAQ database
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have a good understanding of geometrical dimensioning and tolerance

Ability to communicate at all levels

Previous experience in assembly and/or manufacturing environment
