Primary Responsibilities Will Include
Top Gun Staffing Inc is currently searching for an Industrial Engineer – Controls Engineer to be responsible for compliance and Continual Improvement projects as it relates to Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Cost.

Work as part of an execution and / or segment team and assume complete responsibility of the system control function from start to finish of the project.

Work with other Controls Engineers and /or supervise Associate Engineers working on projects.

Support sales and quoting efforts as required.

Write controls specifications defining the functional scope of controls and the I/O requirements.

Create electrical drawing packages using AutoCAD.

Program and debug PLC programs and HMI screens.

Program FANUC robots and teach points and paths.

Write operator manuals.
-
Support integration on the floor.

Support field installation, startup and debug of systems.

Hold customer training sessions as needed.
Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Experience/skills And Education

Bachelor’s or master’s in industrial manufacturing or Electrical Engineering

.PLC Siemens, Allen Bradley
-
Welding Mig & Tig
-
Minimum five years of relevant experience in systems engineering, design, assembly, and/or material handling; preferably related to robotic automation systems.

Electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and debug experience.

FANUC Robot programming and teaching experience.

HMI programming experience and PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley / Siemens preferred / TiA Portal).

Kaizen Software
-
AutoCAD experience creating electrical drawing packages.
-
8D, FMEA, APQP and SPC.
