Top Gun Staffing is looking for an experienced Lab Technician for a large manufacturing plant in Birmingham, AL. area! We offer a competitive pay from $20.00-$26.00/hr.
Shifts:
2nd shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
Duties/ Responsibilities:

Receiving, labeling, and safely storing samples to be tested

Determining and performing tests needed for analysis and report
-
Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety
-
Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results of the test

Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment

Daily testing of wastewater treatment chemistry
-
Load out hazardous and non-hazardous waste pick ups
Educational Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 1 year of mixing/ testing of chemistry in a manufacturing environment

Must have knowledge of lab equipment
-
Must have basic knowledge of computers
-
Ability to multitask
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
