Qualifications
STRONG working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
STRONG working knowledge of robots
STRONG troubleshooting skills in electrical, controls, PLCs, drives and robotics
Ability to work in teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Strong mathematical skills
Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours per day
Ability to climb ladders and stairways
Ability to work in confined spaces and heights using proper PPE
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technical Associate will troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment to ensure timely and accurate plant production
The Maintenance Technical Associate will work with other team members, supervisors and/or members of management to resolve departmental or company-wide issues and to implement new programs, procedures or policies
They will promote and maintain a positive team environment
The Maintenance Technical Associate will perform required preventative maintenance and service on all machines and plant equipment pursuant to manufacturer’s recommendations
They will use hand tools and power tools
The Maintenance Technical Associate will diagnose, test and make adjustments on machines and equipment as needed
They will maintain a clean and safe work area; cleaning their work area at the end of each shift
The Maintenance Technical Associate will follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
They will promptly and accurately addresses the needs of both internal and external customers
They will keep their supervisor and other team members informed of progress, issues and/or concerns
