Role Summary
Are you ready for a direct hire, permanent “career” opportunity, with room for growth? Top Gun has a secure opportunity for a Process Technician (Chemical) in the Battle Creek, MI area. This is a 2nd shift position, $20-$25 per hour depending on experience. Overtime is currently available.
Maintain and improve the integrity of the E-Coat process.
Successfully and consistently operate the e-coat system
Coordinate launch of equipment for process improvement
load racks & program, operate conveyors, hoist, pretreatment & alarms.
Establish process control that eliminates non-conforming processes, increasing quality.
Ensures E-Coat prototypes are available for on-time shipment
Regular maintenance of operating systems.
Manage waste oil system and wastewater system. Test wastewater.
Maintenance with PM’s
Corrosion panels, phosphate panels, analyze and interpret critical performance criteria.
Monitor Chemical Inventory
Maintain 5S standards in all assigned areas.
Abilities:
Manufacturing experience required
Chemical understanding
Distinguish between colors
Forklift Certification
